Feronia Fashion Night was an initiative that was taken by Redo Times Pvt. Ltd. to raise awareness about gender equality. It was a step towards rewriting gender norms and inclusion of the LGBTQ community in the “mainstream” society. The name Feronia is related to the Greek goddess of Freedom, Health, Abundance and Fertility. It was a first of its kind event in India that showcased the Androgynous Fashion – A form of fashion that focuses on breaking gender stereotypes. The fashion event gave an excellent platform to the LGBTQ community to convey its plight to the world.
Feronia Fashion Night 2.0 was held on 6th April, 2019 at The Beach House Resort, Goa, in collaboration with the brand Repechage as official Skin and Beauty partners for the event. The models graced the ramp with their flawless makeup by using seaweed-based skincare products.
