Feronia Fashion Night was an initiative that was taken by Redo Times Pvt. Ltd. to raise awareness about gender equality. It was a step towards rewriting gender norms and inclusion of the LGBTQ community in the “mainstream” society. The name Feronia is related to the Greek goddess of Freedom, Health, Abundance and Fertility. It was a first of its kind event in India that showcased the Androgynous Fashion – A form of fashion that focuses on breaking gender stereotypes. The fashion event gave an excellent platform to the LGBTQ community to convey its plight to the world.
Feronia Fashion Night 2.0 was held on 6th April, 2019 at The Beach House Resort, Goa, in collaboration with the brand Veto as official footwear partner of the event. The models graced the ramp by wearing the wonderful shoes which provided them with the comfort and also enhanced their walk. The brand creates top-of-the-line elevator shoes that have cut a swathe in the world of high fashion, ranging from an elevation of 5.1 to 6.6 centi meters which was an ideal size that was required by most of the models, making them even taller. The brands shoes were constructed and perfected by passionate designers, comfort engineers keeping in mind the needs of the customer, the models were offered shoes that had discreet insole heels to stand out and yet carry off a subtle but confident look as they made every turn.
Veto holds its rich history of shoemaking with a passion for environmental preservation that had resulted in a collection of designer elevator shoes made entirely with ethical synthetic leather and created for customer’s supreme comfort. The brand also offered natural-looking height-enhancement of up to 2.5 inches, using a patented and unique inside-out ergonomic elevation, which was designed and developed through a new understanding of unique pressure points in the feet for its customers.
